Student Details: Full Name, Student GR / Admission Number, Date of Birth, Roll Number, Class, Section, Medium, Gender, Profile Picture, and Address.
Parent / Guardian Details: Full Name, Primary Mobile Number, Email Address, Relationship to Student, and Occupation.
B. Educational & Academic Data
Academic Records: Attendance records, examination marks/results, timetable schedules, homework/assignment submissions, report cards, and teacher notes/remarks.
Financial & Fee Data: School fee transaction details, payment receipts, fee status, and payment channel references (processed securely via authorized payment gateways like Stripe or Razorpay; we do not store raw credit/debit card details).
C. Device & Technical Information
Device Identifiers: Device ID, Device Model, OS Version, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for sending push notifications.
Log & Usage Data: App interaction metrics, login timestamps, and error crash logs.
D. App Permissions Requested
Camera Permission: Required only when a student or parent chooses to capture and upload a profile picture or submit photos of homework/assignments.
Storage / File Access: Required to download educational resources, study materials, syllabi, fee receipts, or attach documents/assignments.
Notifications Permission: Required to send real-time push notifications regarding announcements, attendance updates, assignment alerts, and fee due reminders.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely for legitimate educational and administrative purposes, including:

Authentication & Role Isolation: Securing student and parent logins and isolating data access by school tenant and user role.
Academic Operations: Displaying student timetables, attendance, assignment statuses, subject reports, and examination results.
School Communication: Delivering instant school announcements, notice board updates, circulars, and teacher messages.
Fee Management: Facilitating online fee payments and generating payment receipts.
App Customization: Displaying school-specific branding, logo, and launcher settings.
System Security & Performance: Diagnosing technical issues, preventing fraud, and optimizing app performance.

We only share data with trusted service providers strictly necessary to operate the App:

Firebase (Google Cloud): For push notification delivery and basic analytics.
Payment Gateways (Razorpay / Stripe): For secure processing of school fee payments.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR Compliance)
As an educational software application, Lernify prioritizes the privacy of minors:

Student accounts are created and managed exclusively by authorized School Administrators.
Students under the age of 18 access the App under the supervision of their school and registered parents/guardians.
We do not collect personal data from children for marketing or non-educational purposes.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion
Retention: We retain student and parent data for as long as the student remains enrolled with an affiliated school, or as required by educational regulatory laws.
Account Deletion / Data Removal: Parents or students wishing to delete their account or request removal of personal data can contact their respective School Administration or email us at support@lernify.in
. Upon verification, account data will be removed in accordance with our institutional agreements.
